The terraced cottages known as New Houses were built around 1840 high above Miller’s Dale, surrounded by the unique landscape of the Peak. Sympathetically restored to create a comfortable holiday home, No.3 offers wonderful walks from the doorstep and many other Peak attractions within a short drive. Nearby Litton has excellent pub food and a proper village shop open every day. More shopping and good food Tideswell a couple of miles away. If you’re looking for a green holiday, all this is within walking distance and there’s also a daily bus from the door to Bakewell.
