Enjoying a village location, this cottage benefits from the local amenities on offer which include a local pub, The Horse and Jockey which is a great spot for resting aching legs after a day spent walking the Peaks. The Monsal and Millers Dales offer outstanding walking routes through the weathered landscape of the Peak District.
This cottage is accessed via a small porch which opens into the open plan lounge-diner. There is a log burning stove which makes a central feature of the room, and country-style wooden flooring provides a wonderful feeling of warmth throughout the space. The property is brimming with character throughout, including the exposed beams in the ceiling of the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities guests will require during their stay, and has an exposed stone wall which adds to the country cottage charm of the room.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which contains two single beds. There is a bathroom which consists of a spa bath, shower-over, hand basin and toilet. Down a further six steps, there is a master bedroom which has a king size bed and a double height ceiling.
All mattresses have been recently replaced.
From the first floor, there is access to the recently refurbished roof-terrace. An ideal place for an evening sundowner!
Outside there is a patio garden to the front of the property with a lovely BBQ area and garden furniture for a spot of al fresco dining. The garden also has a secure bike shed.
