The Cotton Loft in Litton is a small, comfortably modern holiday studio, appealing to couples and single guests, looking for peace and quiet in a central village location. With fabulous walks from the doorstep, it is an ideal base to explore the natural environment and get outdoors and active in the beautiful Peak District National Park.
The studio is situated above and to the rear of the new detached limestone garage, next to the owners’ house, and offers the freedom of self-catering accommodation, while allowing for the option to dine out locally.
Downstairs is the small kitchenette, complete with kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. Adjacent to this is the shower room with a spacious shower and a range of complimentary guest toiletries, and the living/sleeping area is upstairs via 11 steps. There is a comfy double bed, and 2 easy ‘Scandi-style’ chairs and there is a TV/DVD combi and free wi-fi for your use. We supply all linen, towels, crockery and cutlery, and there is also off-the-road car parking space for one car and secure equipment storage if required.
Just a few strides up the road is the Red Lion Inn, which serves a good range of real ales and tasty food. Tideswell, home to the magnificent’ Cathedral of the Peak’, has a lovely range of shops, cafes/deli’s, pubs and local amenities and is just 1 mile away. The market town of Bakewell, the Spa town of Buxton, stately Chatsworth House, the dignified Haddon Hall, Castleton with its Blue John mines and the plague village of Eyam are all within easy reach.
