Ashdown Cottage provides no smoking accommodation in the centre of the Peak District village of Tideswell.

It’s within a few minutes level walking access to local amenities including a bakery, butchers, green grocers, Co-op general store, post office, chemist, deli and several pubs and coffee shops.

There are many wonderful walking trails from the village so you can easily leave the car outside the cottage for the duration of your holiday. If you really want to cut your carbon footprint Tideswell is served by buses from Sheffield, Chesterfield, Bakewell, Buxton and Castleton. Local buses can also take you to great walking opportunities, lovely villages and stately homes.
